The 'Buy/Sell A Business' feature of InsuranceWebPortal.com allows owners of retail agencies and other insurance related firms to list their business for sale, and allows prospective buyers seeking an insurance agency or insurance related business to search the available listings to locate one that fits their criteria.

To search the listings, you start by entering your specifications under 'BUY/SELL A BUSINESS'. You may search by type of business, and for firms that deal with specific types of customers and coverages.

A listing of firms offering one or more of the markets, coverages and industries you specified appears in the left column below, with links to company detail. Each listing includes the location and up to two lines of company description. Clicking on 'Company detail' displays further information in the right column including approximate premium written, revenue and asking price, along with a more complete description of the company and contact information.

Getting listing

There is a nominal charge of $150 for a 3 month 'BUY/SELL A BUSINESS' listing, or $225 for a 6 month listing. Listings are placed through InsuranceWebPortal.com, and 3 month listings are free during the current pre-launch period.
