The 'Find A Person' feature of InsuranceWebPortal.com allows you to locate individuals you may have lost track of, and to network with potential employees, employers, business partners, consultants and others who can help you reach your business goals. While these functions are also provided for elsewhere on the portal via paid listings, you can seek out individuals here who choose to make information about themselves public, and you can approach them directly.

To search the 'Find A Person' listings, you start by entering your specifications under 'FIND A PERSON'. Listings meeting your criteria appear in the left column below, with links to further detail about each person. Listings include the name of the person, company and location. Clicking on a listing displays further detail in the right column, including website and contact information.

Placing a Listing

Listings are free. You may be included in the listings by ensuring that the checkbox labeled 'Allow others to find me in Find a Person' is checked when you register.

After you register, you can change your listing preference at any time by clicking on 'LET OTHERS FIND ME' on the left menu, checking or unchecking the box labeled 'Allow others to find me in Find a Person', and saving the form. This form also allows you to modify your listing information, and add or change screening criteria to determine when you will appear in the search results. Please note: When you first register, we set your display information to be the same as your contact information. In order to handle any special requirements you may have, the system allows you to change your name and contact information separately from your registration profile. Therefore, when your contact information changes, you should make sure that both your PROFILE and LET OTHERS FIND ME records are up to date.

Once you have located an individual you wish to contact, you may then click on 'Contact [person's name] by E-mail' to open up an e-mail contact form. Your e-mail will be sent directly to the other person, but that person's e-mail address will remain private to protect his/her privacy. If the individual decides to enter into a dialogue with you, he/she may then provide you with an e-mail address.
